I think I like this painting. I won’t try and describe it: what it looks like varies from eye to eye so—the policy maker in me thinks leave it be. Did you ever read how at an apple orchard in china—one of the ones in the mountains—they pollinate blossoms by hand because all the “buccaneers of buzz” have been collaterally killed. I suppose remnants of the same could be said for the difference between the canvas’s warm thrums and his briefs—take their cues from Bikini but he’s rigged an alembic. No poison, but perhaps so homo.
ReplyDeleteIt’s not unlike Picasso, all the pastels and thick brush strokes—it seems to be two people embracing, one with an orange bow on her forehead. I wouldn’t know if it was real or a hoax—green and blue and red lacing, ocher thick stripes and black thread. Expressive, yes, but impressive, maybe. I like the pink hand placed near the pine-coned breasts—it sort of looks 3-D. In Texas the painting was banned by the state’s desk—the old men thought it was seedy. Here’s the real quote, does it promote, the needy sucking the teats of the greedy?
