  1. I could live by a bridge sort of like this, while not caring that it’s pastoral. People think city’s are cool, but I prefer the remote and rural. Fuck cool kids and their towers and steeples. Give me stone bridges and outcroppings and ridges and willows. Shades of green bring me pleasure—oak like gaspite and maple like malachite—trees are the jewels of Pachamama’s treasure. There I did it, I dropped a native name so those in high towers won’t cower. Don’t claim my rhymes are pallid. Save that thought for another day, because everything about verdure is valid.

  2. Pretty river, but with a problem: unless I end up in a lovely boat on a sunny day like the one shown, then the loveliness does me no good—clomping through the greenery to the bank, scuffling through all that humidity and lash, would get me down. And OMG, with a flippin’ boat in tow: hell no. Basically, the scene needs a servant, and the servant needs top dollar remuneration. Yes, I do not lack for Marxist cred. Hey, what do you call a Marxist on a river? I, myself, have no clue. But if you ask around in Kerala.
