Hello . . . this is Joe. Welcome to A Daily Drabble. Please add 100 words of prose or poetry as a comment on any date you want and in any order you want. Please reply on the drabbles you like. I'll moderate the comments at night, and they'll appear the next day. This is for everyone!

The big—the bigger—the apple that leapt a year and sauced the future—makes me smile, like the dust wafts from a diamond at the cutters—before lasers took over but after the fantasy they’d mean the end of tailoring by hand. The elephant as it disappears past this horizon—as in, duh, its hairs—makes a pretty bracelet. My personal shopper wears three of them; they make a tinkle you can hear in Rome or Paris but not here, where I had the hardest time finding clothes that fit, before my body grew closer to normal. Swipe: swipe.
