Hello . . . this is Joe. Welcome to A Daily Drabble. Please add 100 words of prose or poetry as a comment on any date you want and in any order you want. Please reply on the drabbles you like. I'll moderate the comments at night, and they'll appear the next day. This is for everyone!

A moon for a fool, like a blue bulb in the sky, and I think of werewolves, wearing the stinking skins of people, yearning to be free every twenty-nine-point-five days. Footprints alongside the streams slowly morph from human to canine, the six toes shrinking into stubby paws with claws. Bits of shredded flesh along the way like the discarded molt of lizards. And somewhere in the vale ahead, under the great eye of Diana the Huntress, the lycanthropes sniff each other’s butts like dogs. They get in furious fights of flying fur and hump each other long into the night.
