  1. I see a wisp of a person sitting in a chair waiting for something to come along and splash some color over the canvass. A vision comes to mind of an echo of a reflection of a palimpsest in time, not that any of this should make sense. Or rhyme. This would look great on my wall, to the right of my study and the books piled up to read. Where will I go today? Privateering on a frigate past Ceres? Strolling with Corso in the old quarter of Madrid? No, I’ve settled on poor Latro, struggling with his memory.

  2. This image reminds me of the cover of a book of poems titled Haute Surveillance. The poet used to be Swedish. I used to be a ditch junk metal brims. The image sort of looks as if it were drawn in smoke. A Marlboro red with some rather quality drafting skills. I wonder what temperature it is in that room. Books of poems fair well when it comes to their covers. I wish more poets would cover “To His Coy Mistress.” But they don’t; because they don’t have the skill. I frown at killer ill. And I kill my fill.
