  1. This could have been a Rothko if he did everything a little differently like an inch can mean distance separates terrible difficulties of nerves and blood from the health of forgetting anyone part of one’s body. Therefore, the less I see of my insides the better I breathe. But if we stop our lungs in tandem, medlars might fall like snow about our heads. I see Byzantium stripped of its skin—and most of the blood let. Mostly, I live life trashing my residence. This means I’m ashamed to let you in. Nor him neither her. Drain fails its sink.

    1. "But if we stop our lungs in tandem, medlars might fall like snow about our heads." Reminds me of Ben Marcus. Good stuff!

  2. I’ve seen stranger things. But in this, two men face each other over a porcelain toilet. The undersurface of the toilet’s lid bears a depiction of a large, pink butterfly. I don’t know why. The men bend forward, arms stiff in support of their weight on opposite sides of the seat, as if both are ready to vomit in tandem. The man have beak faces, but I can’t be sure what hangs on the wall behind each of their heads. Organic guitars twisted in cancerous contortions? Alien embryos floating in amniotic acid, waiting to slide down a slippery cervix ride?
