Hello . . . this is Joe. Welcome to A Daily Drabble. Please add 100 words of prose or poetry as a comment on any date you want and in any order you want. Please reply on the drabbles you like. I'll moderate the comments at night, and they'll appear the next day. This is for everyone!

Stone deaf, I’m not, back against the rock, just rearranging words in my cortex, watching the cars sling by, thinking and stinking, and whatnot, till rhyme rages in a vortex, as my pen extends like claws from big granite paws of that ancient beast, maybe Babylonian, maybe more ancient or possibly medieval, could be chthonian, and fingers extend, almost stretching over my paper and table, now wand as a pen, the ink tool the diode, the drabble the energy, the poet the fable, the poetry the code, the pith of all his mind to unload by side of the road.
