  1. The two brothers lounged, roasting in the hot mid-august sun, taking a rest on their days long journey. 'How much longer Barnabas?' sighed the Eliot. 'My feet are beginning to ache and the pit in my stomach is bellowing! When will we arrive to the Singing Springs?' Barnabas said nothing as he continued to play his ditty. There was no breeze to carry the tune and it fell flat on the dust as a the notes rang out. Licking his lips he turned to Eliot, 'we are just over midway brother. We will arrive near dusk and bath our filthy bodies before the audience arrives.' It was, after all, the largest performance of music & theater that the Fae shared with mortals, a rather honorable charge to take on. This would be the 7th year of the Singing Springs Festival, and as it was a rather difficult year, with the draught, everyone was anticipating the coming celebration! Standing Barnabas declared, 'Come on Eliot, we will make good time if we continue on now.' And with that, they lifted their tired and sodden bodies to their feet to continue their long journey to the crystalline spring where the veil was lifted and Beings from all realms enjoyed the Song and Spirit of the springs.
